This is my 3rd time visiting Falls Church,VA from NY and I'm angry that I just found this place. I'm traveling with a party of 7 to include 3 picky eater kids. Everyone enjoyed their food very much. It was hot, super fresh and the service was magnificent!
Don't let the negative reviews keep you away from this place, I'm not "Peruvian" but I know good food and this was it!
Great prices and large portions too! -

Terrible place. If you are Peruvian you know the real Chifa. I bought this chifa outside of my school for 1 sol ( peruvian coin) the smell was disgusting and the chicken was not fresh. It was like a plastic. This place does not even deserve one star. The WORST part was when they took the tip directly from card without telling me nothing. This is illegal and disrespectful. Do not waste your money. Do not even think that this Peruvian chifa.

The waitress was very welcoming and polite. The music was good.
The Peruvian "criollo" plates had good flavor. The Peruvian drinks were good too.
The "Chifa" had several good soups. The sweet and sour chicken was a disappointment. Just fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce from a jar (not like the one they serve in Peru!) and nothing else. No slices of "ají", or green bell-peppers, or even pineapples at all. Not at all the way this dish is served in the chifas in Perú.
The "Tallarín Saltado" chifa was the worst! In Perú they prepare a delicious sauce with oyster sauce, spices, soya sauce, etc., etc. The sauce of the tallarín in Kampo tasted like a lot of soya sauce, a lot of MSG, and nothing else! It had the meat you chose, and a couple of onions and beansprouts, but no other ingredient. No Chinese vegetables at all! No egg, nothing else at all. Terrible. Nothing like a "tallarín saltado" at any chifa in Perú. NOT the same ingredients and the flavor was lacking big time!
I heard this was the only "chifa" in the Falls Church area and was looking forward to eating there. I will NOT be going back and do not recommend this place at all. Really sad because I LOVE a good "chifa" and KamPo does not have good "chifa", except for the soups. For the Peruvian "comida criolla" it is ok. Sadly, I do not recommend this place. -

Don't go to this restaurant if you want Peruvian Chinese food. I don't know about the other type of food at this place. However, Chinese food is bad here. It is not fresh or the quality of the ingredients is bad. We waisted our money with a take out that we didn't it.

My favorite neighborhood hole in the wall. My favorites are: chaufa, chupe de camerons, and saltado.
